Our Nelson bar is a classic design made to sit with the bar return up against a wall. Similar in style to our Abbey bar, it’s handcrafted at our studio in the West Midlands and brings the character of a traditional bar to any living room, games room or garden room.

  • Made from high-quality MDF sheets that resist twisting and warping
  • Optional left or right entry
  • Bar top in a choice of dark walnut or satin ebony black
  • Bar base in a choice of matt white, cream, grey or brown
  • Four routered-edge solid panels
  • Large routered-edge storage shelf (147cm x 20cm)
  • Storage space for a medium-sized fridge
  • Securing points for safety
  • A choice of foot rails (sold separately)
  • Back bars (sold separately)

Please note: there are no features on the outside of the return, as this side sits against the wall.

What is the difference between the Abbey bar and the Nelson bar?

It’s a question we get asked a lot. These bars are very similar, however the Nelson bar has the bar return placed up against a wall, whereas the Abbey bar has the opposite end installed against a wall (as pictured).

The Nelson bar’s wall-fitted layout makes the most of your space, with a generous bar top for mixing drinks and a large storage shelf within easy reach. There’s room for a medium-sized fridge beneath, too. 

Every bar we create is made to order in our West Midlands studio, never bought in from elsewhere. Popular extras include LED lighting, bottle display units, BAR letters and glass bar toppers, so please mention any you’d like when placing your order.
